What to Expect ↓
Day 1: Gauteng to Kruger National Park
We leave from Johannesburg between 06:00 and 07:00 to allow for various collection points. Our route to your epic Kruger wildlife safari takes us through the wide open spaces of the Highveld, down the escarpment and through the scenic Lowveld area. We stop for lunch en-route (own expense) and reach Kruger Park in the afternoon.
After settling into our accommodations, we head out on our first Kruger safari! We conduct all our game drives in specially adapted 4×4 open safari vehicles to allow our guests the best possible vantage point. On our return, we have some time to Kruger Park’s shop, go for a walk and just familiarise ourselves with our surroundings.
Dinner is served al fresco at our camp. (Dinner included)
Days 2 & 3: A Full Day in the Kruger Park
Kruger safaris are all about early mornings, and getting out there and seeing the animals! The time you go on your wildlife safari varies according to the seasons and camp gate opening times. We have tea or coffee with snacks before departing on the game drive. This will take approximately 3 to 4 hours. Even better, your guide has an intimate knowledge of the Kruger National Park, which contributes a great deal towards brilliant sightings!
On your return to camp, brunch will be ready. You’ll then have time to enjoy a swim, visit Kruger Park’s shop, which includes African curios, general food items and drinks, relax in your chalet or take a walk around the camp.
After your leisure time, we set off on your afternoon Kruger wildlife safari. We conduct all our Kruger safaris in specially adapted 4×4 open game drive vehicles to allow our guests the best possible vantage point. We then share African safari stories under the stars after a scrumptious dinner, served at our camp. (Breakfast & Dinner included)
Day 4: Kruger National Park to Swaziland
The sun rises over our final day in the Kruger National Park and we embark on one last Kruger safari in the hopes of finding the wildlife that haven’t seen as yet. We enjoy breakfast en-route.
From Kruger Park, we continue on to the landlocked Kingdom of Swaziland. The variation in landscape is magnificent to behold as we move into a mountainous region. On the way there, we’ll grab a bite to eat (own expense).
Our evening will be spent in one of the Swaziland Royal National Parks, where all the animals belong to the king. You’ll then get to enjoy dinner under the stars while sharing travel stories around the fire. (Breakfast & Dinner included)
Day 5: Swaziland to Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Game Reserve
After a filling breakfast, we head for KwaZulu-Natal. We’ll, again, stop for lunch (own expense) en-route to the Hilltop Camp at the Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Game Reserve.
Once we get there, you’ll go on an afternoon game drive, and your guide will then prepare dinner for you to enjoy under the stars (weather permitting) afterwards.
Day 6: A Day in Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Game Reserve
This day is all about searching for the wildlife that you have not seen as yet, whether that be the Big 5 or other animals, like bush buck and nyala!
After dinner, you’ll join a Sunset Drive in an open 4×4 vehicle with a KwaZulu-Natal Parks guide, which gives you the opportunity to see nocturnal African wildlife. (Breakfast & Dinner included)
Day 7: Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Game Reserve to Dolphin Coast
After a morning wildlife safari in a closed vehicle with our guide, we head to the iSimangaliso Wetland Park, a remarkable World Heritage Site!
When we arrive at St Lucia, we will also join a two-hour Hippo and Crocodile Boat Cruise on the St Lucia Estuary. Many crocodiles, hippos and birds make the estuary their home and you will have ample opportunities to capture these sights on your camera.
After lunch at one of the restaurants there (own expense), we head to the Dolphin Coast. Accommodation here is in rooms with en suite bathrooms, and we’ll then enjoy dinner – a delectable Indian curry, delivered to you. (Breakfast & Dinner included)
Day 8: Dolphin Coast to Durban
After breakfast, you can enjoy a dip in the warm Indian Ocean or simply walk along the shore. We then head to King Shaka International Airport and stop en-route to enjoy lunch (own expense). We plan to arrive between 12:00 and 14:00. (Breakfast included)
From here, guests can fly to various other cities in the country or enjoy an additional safari, like perhaps our Addo to Cape Safari. Ask one of our consultants about this.

Important Notes ↓
It is important to note that this is not a private wildlife safari and there will probably be other guests joining you on the game drive vehicles, air-conditioned mini bus transfer vehicles as well as in the dining facility.
Please note that Sunset Drive times are subject to change and availability on the day. These drives are conducted by KwaZulu-Natal Parks, by one of their rangers and in one of their vehicles. There will most likely be other guests on this drive. Children under 3 years of age are not allowed on these open game drive vehicles.
Guests flying out of King Shaka International Airport on the last day are reminded to not book any flights earlier than 17:00 in order to give us enough time to get you to the airport. We recommend that you rather stay over in Durban if possible. Since we cannot guarantee our arrival time in Durban on the last day we will not be held responsible for reimbursements of flight tickets, should we arrive later than expected.
All passport and visa requirements are the guests’ responsibility. Should your passport and visas not be in order, we will assist with arrangements in any way possible to allow you to join us again on our return to South Africa, but any such arrangements will be for your own account.
