African Safari
Combine two of the most iconic tourist destinations in the world into one phenomenal safari package with our 6 Day Kruger Park & Victoria Falls Safari.
Game drives in the southern part of Kruger National Park offer a fantastic opportunity to explore the diverse wildlife and beautiful landscapes of one of Africa's premier safari destinations. As the largest game reserve in South Africa, the Kruger National Park is home to an abundance of animal and bird species, including the famous Big Five (elephant, lion, leopard, rhinoceros, and buffalo).
One of the "must see" experiences in Southern Africa is undoubtedly visiting the Victoria Falls. It is a UNESCO World Heritage site and although it is neither the highest or widest waterfall in the world, it is considered the largest based on its width of over a mile and height of 350 feet. The vibrant tourist village of Victoria Falls offers load of activities including a variety of wildlife experiences, local arts and culture and numerous adrenaline activities.
What our guests have to say...
Day 1
On arrival at Skukuza Airport, your guide will meet you for your transfer through the Kruger National Park to our camp. Ideally located right at the Kruger Gate in a private nature reserve sandwiched by the Kruger National Park and the Sabi Sands Game Reserve, this is the perfect location from which to explore the abundant wildlife of the Kruger National Park.
Your first open vehicle game drive departs after afternoon tea.
Day 2 & 3
You have 2 full days to see not only a big variety of animals, but also the numerous species of birds, insects and reptiles in the very varied habitat of the southern Kruger Park making it possible for such a huge variety of wildlife to occur here.
Between drives our chef will wow you with freshly prepared meals (special dietary requirements can be catered for by prior arrangement and some may incur additional charges).
Day 4
This morning a road transfer will take you to the Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport for your direct scheduled flight to Victoria Falls.
In the late afternoon you join a Dinner Cruise on the Zambezi River! On a Zambezi dinner cruise, you can enjoy a relaxing and scenic boat ride along the river while indulging in a delicious dinner. As you glide along the Zambezi, you'll have the opportunity to take in the breathtaking views of the river, its banks, and the surrounding wildlife. You might spot elephants, hippos, crocodiles, and various bird species, among other animals that inhabit the area.
Day 5
Today you explore the stunning Victoria Falls on a guided walking tour of the Rainforest with a magnificent view of the Victoria Falls. Your guide is a local with intimate knowledge of the ecosystems surrounding the Falls. The area is teeming with a variety of bird species, monkeys, baboons, and other wildlife. Your guide can help you identify the different plant species, including ferns, palms, and unique rainforest trees.
You have the rest of the day at leisure to explore the vibrant village of Victoria Falls on you own, or your guide can assist with booking any of the numerous other activities on offer as as a helicopter flight over the falls, bungee jumping, a historic bridge tour, visiting a local village, arts & crat market shopping and so much more. We also highly recommend having High Tea on the Stanley Terrace at the iconic Victoria Falls Hotel, the oldest hotel in town, built in 1903.
Your last night is an evening of African Entertainment and Cuisine at The Boma - Dinner & Drum show.
Day 6
For your final morning you have a choice between two activities:
Meet the ElephantsThis Elephant Encounter allows you to unobtrusively observe these magnificent animals in a pristine wilderness area. This is a conservation project, founded to take care of orphaned elephants and to raise awareness of these magnificent animals' lives.
OR Feast of BeastsWildlife Encounter was founded as an awareness and fundraising center for Lion rehabilitation and release programmes, working hand-in-hand with conservation and community development initiatives. You get to experience feeding times (in a safe hide) to see the lions eating. It can be quite violent and is not for more sensitive guests
After your morning activity you are transferred back to the Victoria Falls Airport for your onward travel arrangements.
