Itinerary

Day 1: Cape Town to the Kruger National Park

You’ll depart from Cape Town International Airport to a Kruger Park airport, where we will collect and transfer you to our camp.

After settling into your accommodations, you’ll get to go on your first Kruger safari –. This will give you the opportunity to see nocturnal wildlife, and Kruger Park’s rangers are allowed to return after the normal gate closing times. These drives also take place in one of their vehicles with one of their rangers, and is not a private Kruger wildlife safari so there may be other guests on the drive. (Children under 6 years of age are not permitted on open vehicle drives.)

Dinner is served at our camp in the evening. (Dinner included)

Days 2 & 3: A Full Day in Kruger Park

Kruger wildlife safaris are all about early mornings, and getting out there and seeing the animals! The time you go on your Kruger safari varies according to the seasons and camp gate opening times. After a refreshing cup of tea or coffee and snacks, we set off on the morning game drive which will take approximately 3 to 4 hours. Your guide also has an intimate knowledge of the Kruger National Park, which contributes a great deal towards brilliant sightings!

On your return to camp, brunch will be ready. You’ll then have time to visit Kruger Park’s shop, which includes African curios, general food items and drinks, take a walk around the camp or relax in your chalet. Oh and be sure to bring your binoculars, as Kruger Park is a bird watcher’s paradise!

After your leisure time, we set off on your afternoon Kruger safari. To allow our guests the best possible vantage point, we conduct all our safaris in specially adapted 4×4 open game drive vehicles. We then Kruger safari stories under the stars after dinner served at our camp. (Breakfast & Dinner included)

Day 4: Kruger Park to Cape Town

The sun rises over our final day in Kruger Park and we have one last chance to find the wildlife that have eluded us thus far. After breakfast, we will transfer you to an airport near the Kruger National Park for your flight to Cape Town International Airport. (Breakfast included)

Notes

On this Fly-in Safari, we make use of facilities and accommodation situated inside the Kruger National Park and do not stay outside Kruger, unless forced to do so because of availability.

It is important to note that this is not a private Kruger safari and there will probably be other guests joining you on the game drive vehicles, air-conditioned mini bus transfer vehicles as well as in the dining facility.

Please note that Sunset Drive times are subject to change and availability on the day. These drives are conducted by one of their rangers and in one of their vehicles. There will most likely be other guests on this drive. Children under 6 years of age are not allowed on open safari vehicles.

Although we welcome children on our Kruger wildlife safaris, we reserve the right not to allow younger children on our normal game drives. This will entirely be at the guide’s discretion and is done to ensure a pleasurable Kruger safari for all our guests (including the parents). Should this be the case, a bush bumble (kiddies game drive) will be conducted after the normal game drive, especially for the kids. We do not offer babysitting services and, as such, one of the parents will have to stay behind to watch the children. Private safaris for families can be arranged at an extra charge.
