Day 1: Gauteng to Kruger National Park
We leave on your Kruger Park safari from Johannesburg in the early morning to allow for various collection points. The route to your Kruger wildlife safari takes us through the Highveld with its wide open spaces, down the escarpment and through the scenic Lowveld area. En-route to the Kruger National Park, we stop for lunch (own expense).
After settling into your accommodation, you will go on your first Kruger safari – one that affords you the opportunity to see the African wildlife that are most active later on in the day.
Dinner will be served al fresco at our camp – wine is served with dinner but guests are welcome to bring along additional/alternative drinks which can be purchased at Kruger Park’s shop.
Day 2: A Full Day in the Kruger National Park
Kruger wildlife safaris are all about early mornings, and getting out there and seeing the animals! The time you go on your Kruger safari varies according to the seasons and camp gate opening times. We have tea or coffee with snacks before departing on the game drive – it will take approximately 3 to 4 hours. Your guide also has an intimate knowledge of Kruger Park, which contributes a great deal towards brilliant sightings!
Brunch will be ready when we return to the camp. You’ll then have time to enjoy a swim, visit Kruger Park’s shop, which includes African curios, general food items and drinks, take a walk around the camp or simply relax in your chalet. Remember to bring your binoculars, the Kruger National Park is a bird watcher’s paradise!
After your leisure time, we set off on your afternoon Kruger safari. We conduct all our game drives in specially adapted 4×4 open safari vehicles to allow our guests the best possible vantage point.
We share stories under the stars after a scrumptious dinner served at our camp.
(Breakfast & Dinner included)
Day 3: Kruger Park to Private Lodge
After an early wake-up call, we’ll head to one of the world-renowned Private Game Reserves adjacent to the Kruger National Park in our closed, air-conditioned vehicle. You’ll receive a packed breakfast before you go.
We arrive in time for your afternoon Greater Kruger safari in one of the Private Lodge’s open game drive vehicles. Your exciting wildlife safari generally takes about 4 hours and extends into the early evening. Private Reserves are particularly famous for their close-up sightings of predators and while we cannot guarantee these sightings, your chances of seeing these magnificent animals are very good!
Dinner is served under the stars (weather permitting) and the day ends with stories around the open fire and planning for the next day.
(Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner included)
Day 4: Private Lodge to Gauteng
An early wake-up and a strong cup of coffee starts your last day on your Greater Kruger safari and is your final opportunity to experience the magic that only the African bush can offer!
After your morning wildlife safari, breakfast is served. We then begin our journey back to Johannesburg and stop en-route for lunch (own expense). The drive back takes at least 6 hours and guests are advised to sleep over in Johannesburg on this night.

Wonderful 3 Day Safari
I went on Safari with Outlook Safaris in June last year on part of a year out. Everything about the company was perfect, even before booking everything was very well taken care of. When I initially emailed with questions I was replied to very quickly and all the information I received was very useful, Robert was very patient with me. The drivers who picked me up in Jo’Burg were very friendly and professional and made the journey up to the Kruger Park very pleasant. I stayed in the most basic accommodation provided but it had all I needed including a fan and heater because the temperature varied so much. The Skukuza Park is stunning, with beautiful birds, baboons all wandering around. The game drives were amazing.
I just want to say that this was one of the most awesome experiences I’ve had. From the moment I first arrived until the sad last day I had to leave was amazing. Moss driving our group to Kruger National Park that first morning. Not sure if it was the early hour, but everyone was quiet and either looking out of the window, listening to their ipod, or getting some more sleep. I wasn’t sure what to expect. After our first stop for gas and snack some conversations started. By the end of the trip, I really missed seeing everyone every day and sharing those wonderful memories. I had such a good time building friendships and sharing laughs. I think I enjoyed making those new friends as much as seeing all of those wonderful animals in their own environment.

Both my husband and myself have traveled extensively and have had unquestionably one of the best experiences of our lives with Outlook Safaris. The first safari we took was the Classic 7 Day Kruger Park Safari, and this January/February we enjoyed the 5 Day Explorer Safari. Both safaris were wonderful and we were able to see many of the “harder to find” animals. The staff is enthusiastic about their jobs and it shows. Their excitement is only outdone by their knowledge of the bush.I would recommend also an overnight at Outlook Lodge on your return to Johannesburg where Chef and Manager Francois will pamper you with wonderful meals. The downy beds and intimate surroundings are refreshing after a soujourn in the bush. All in all, an experience never to be missed.

An Incredible Company
An incredible company. Debbie the guide and also game driver has a wealth of knowledge and passion for the wilderness like no other. Being a single female traveller, I felt completely safe. All the staff are friendly, the meals delicious and the experience is second to none! The game drive vehicles are large enough to feel safe but small enough to have an intimate experience with the animals.

4 Day Safari Wonder
We just finished a 4 day safari and had a wonderful time. Our guide Joostie was a riot. It was completely worry- free and that was exactly what we were looking for. Outlook Safaris took care of everything.
